How to Party for Canada Day – Social Distancing Style

Happy Canada Day!

No matter if you truly love the way the country is run or agree with the political issues going on, this is a time to put everything aside for the sake of celebrating this beautiful part of the world that we call home!

The history behind this holiday is the signing of the British North America Act (better known as the Constitution Act), which essentially established Canada as it’s own governing system separate from England. Now, the day is most commonly known as a day for celebrating in the backyard with some good friends, good food, and good times. Maybe even light some fireworks off!

We know that this year won’t be the same as previous years’ celebrations. Even though most social distancing restrictions have been lifted, or at least lessened, it is still important that we all be careful when around groups of other people, and reduce these occurrences as much as we can.

Regardless, just like with everything else we do, we will be celebrating Canada Day how we can while staying safe! Here are a few fun ways to join in on the fun from home:

Next Level Canada Day Decor and Outfits

The best way to get in the spirit is to decorate your party venue, and yourself, in theme decor and clothing!

Since the only place you’ll be partying this year is at home, why not deck it out to make sure everyone is getting in the mood! Same goes with your outfit. The audience for your yearly Canada Day ‘fit will be a lot more limited this year, so wear everything you’ve never had the guts to before and let it just make for some great Snapchat memories!

Canada Day Snacks for Social Distancing

If you are having a small group of people over to celebrate, or even if you are just celebrating with your close friends but want to stay extra safe, make sure to have snacks that are single serving and can be served with tongs, instead of shareable dishes like chips or any type of dip.

One awesome snack idea to get you started: Pretzel Sparklers!

Virtual Canada Day Celebrations

There are so many online celebrations taking place that you can join in on:
