We are available to assist with arrivals and trip departures and attend events and activities during the trip! All Ceremony Guides go through a full background check and extensive training before travelling on each trip.

We recommend travellers to check in with our destination team in the evening. This is a prime time to hear feedback about the events and how their trip is going so far!

On destination, our Info Desk is centralized in the hotel lobby. Travelers can visit Ceremony team members for any information or questions they have!

Our Guide Philosophy
Ceremony Guides have experience in Child and youth studies, education/ teaching, recreation and leisure, outdoor education, travel & tourism, volunteer studies, etc.
We are available for assistance & emergencies at any time during our trips.
We help set and maintain boundaries.
We believe that students on grad trips are adults and are expected to act as such.
We meet travellers upon arrival on destination.
We work behind the scene to run smooth logistics during our trips.
Our Priority is Safety
Please be aware of our guidelines that are in place to keep you and your group safe. Some are actual laws, but most are just common sense.
Fighting & Violence
Let’s all play nice. Fighting and violence is not tolerated. Anyone involved in a fight or altercation may be immediately removed from the trip at their own cost.
Respect
Respect all airlines, hotels, excursions, venues, and Ceremony Travel property. Be respectful of other guests. No Loud music between 10pm and 7am. No unnecessary noise in public areas of the hotel.
Drugs & Alcohol
Just SAY NO! Drug possession and use is ILLEGAL. Ceremony Travel follows a strict policy for alcohol possession and/ or consumption. Only students who are 18 and over will be permitted to consume alcohol while on a trip with Ceremony. Those of age are expected to consume responsibly.
Hotel Room Damage
You and your roommates are responsible for any and all damage to your room. Upon check-in, you will be provided with a ‘Room Damages Form’. Make sure you take time to check your room and fill out and return your form.
Swimming
Water safety is extremely important. No swimming after sundown, and always swim with a buddy. Please note the posted pool and beach regulations, which are strictly enforced. Additionally, glass bottles and sharp objects are not permitted in these areas at any point during the trip.
Balcony Safety
Serious injury or death can occur on balconies. Zero tolerance for horseplay on balconies is permitted at any time during the trip.

Safety is Ceremony’s top priority, however, parents and travellers need to have an open and honest conversation about proper expectations and appropriate behaviour while traveling.
